The Femiary

Weaving with the rainbow colors of our diversity, each separate thread of our being bears its own special gifts to the magic of the wholeness we are each and together.

Threads of light and joy mix richly with those of the darkness deep within. Growing ever less afraid of the secret dark places, we call them gently into consciousness. Doing this, we discover knowings long hidden by learned fears of trusting the messages from our anger, rage, terror, despair and chaos.

As we weave, we remember the ancient ways. We bring unconditional, unqualified love and acceptance to all the aspects of our feeling, embodied selves. We speak softly, singing words of loving to our wounded hearts. We are especially gentle and inviting to the secret hates, resentments, fears and griefs. We know that these are coming from those places within us that most need our generosity, love and witnessing.

Reaching deeply into these woundings, we allow the raging, the roaring, the tears, the wailings to come forth, to flow. In being received with love, they begin at last to be released. Grandmother Rose Quartz helps us journey safely into the wounded depths in our hearts. She supports and nourishes us as we lovingly witness the long-hidden pain coming into consciousness. She reminds us to go slowly.

Grandmother Black Tourmaline helps us to feel and re-member the radiance in these darkest places. She nurtures our growing awareness and trust of the power in the process of reclaiming our own darkness. With love and generosity we embrace what we have so long denied, disowned and seen only outside ourselves.

As they weave together, these light and dark strands strengthen and deepen us. This softens and dissolves the harshness and judgment that have so long blocked us from our capacity to love ourselves, to give and receive love with others. No longer hiding, or hiding from our darkness, we honor it. It is a most radiant part of wholing ourselves on the journey home.
